Amelia Academy Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Banner Christian Bearcats (Chesterfield, VA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Amelia Academy improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Patriots host Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA) to face the Warriors in a test on Tuesday, September 16. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-2. Tidewater Academy lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA)

Next, the Bearcats meet the Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Banner Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
