In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Auburn Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the George Wythe Maroons.
The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Galax (Galax, VA). The Maroon Tide go into the non-league game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Galax nudged Radford (Radford, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Maroons (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
