Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Greene Central beat Kinston (Kinston, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bruins meet the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Beddingfield will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC).
