Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Goshen (Goshen, OH). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record.

Next, the Hurricane play the Hillsboro Indians (Hillsboro, OH) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 17. Wilmington will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
