Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) and the visiting Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL), saw Champaign Central's volleyball squad notch a victory over Peoria Notre Dame by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Champaign Central improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Maroons travel to Normal West (Normal, IL) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Irish now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galesburg for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2.
