In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Dawson-Bryant Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the South Point Pointers.
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Pointers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unioto for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13.
