Evangel Christian Lightning (Alabaster, AL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Ezekiel Academy Knights (Montgomery, AL), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Evangel Christian advances its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Lightning host East Central HomeSchool (Pinson, AL) to play the Patriots in a outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 6-2. East Central HomeSchool won 2-1 in their recent league outing against Wiregrass (Dothan, AL)

With the loss, Ezekiel Academy drops to 9-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Wiregrass (Dothan, AL) to confront the Kings in a game on Tuesday, September 16.
