Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) and the host Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), observed Galax's volleyball team top Radford by a count of 2-0.

The Maroon Tide (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Auburn achieved victory over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Bobcats now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16.
