The King William Cavaliers edged the host King & Queen Central Royal Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 16. King William will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record.
The Royal Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans come into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Essex nipped Surry County (Dendron, VA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
