Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) and the visiting Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), observed Lake Braddock's volleyball team top Woodson by a count of 2-0.

The Bruins (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.

The Cavaliers now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Potomac for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Woodson will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-2.
