In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lawrence Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the The Oakwood School Eagles.
The Warriors (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Vikings go into the test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Halifax Academy achieved victory over Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC), 2-0, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pungo Christian Academy for a test on Tuesday, September 16. The Oakwood School will meet a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 2-7.
