Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), saw Catholic's soccer squad triumph over Currituck County by a count of 9-1.

The Crusaders (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints enter the non-league battle with a 10-0 record. In their last match, John Paul II Catholic achieved victory over Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC), 5-0, in a league match.

The Knights now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holmes for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17.
