In Thursday's league outing, the host West Cabarrus Wolverines soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Cox Mill Chargers.
The Wolverines (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Olympic was edged by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 2-0, in a league test.
The Chargers now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hickory Ridge for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A test on Tuesday, September 16. Cox Mill will clash with a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 2-0 league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 5-1.
