Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) and the host Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), saw Riverside's soccer squad overwhelm Forest City by a score of 16-0.

The Vikings (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Crusaders enter the Lackawanna - Division III battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Holy Cross was overwhelmed by Old Forge (Old Forge, PA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Foresters confront the Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division III battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Forest City will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Elk Lake (Dimock, PA).
