General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA), 11-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, General McLane moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lancers host Oil City (Oil City, PA) to clash with the Oilers in a District 10 Region 1 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Oilers come into the test with a record of 1-6. Oil City won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Corry (Corry, PA)

Next up, the Knights confront the Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Sharon (Sharon, PA).
