The Montrose Red Hawks soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Fruita Monument Wildcats to 3 in the Red Hawks league victory on Thursday.
The Red Hawks now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Grand Junction Central for a 5A/4A Southwestern bout on Tuesday, September 16. Montrose will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
