Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) and the host Heritage Christian Academy Warriors (Hopkinsville, KY), saw Webster County's soccer squad triumph over Heritage Christian Academy by a count of 9-1.

The Trojans (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Caldwell County was overwhelmed by Mayfield (Mayfield, KY), 6-2, in a non-league match.

The Warriors now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian County for a District 8 match on Tuesday, September 16. Heritage Christian Academy will meet a Colonels team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 0-9.
