Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) and the host McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA), saw Laurel Highlands's soccer squad triumph over McKeesport by a count of 13-2.

The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA). The Black Hawks enter the WPIAL AAA 2 match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Bethel Park toppled Trinity (Washington, PA), 2-1, in a league match.

The Tigers now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Albert Gallatin for a WPIAL AAA 2 match on Tuesday, September 16. McKeesport will meet a Colonials team coming off a 5-1 league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 1-5.
