Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Moon Area nudges Montour

September 11, 2025: McKees Rocks, PA 15136

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Moon Area Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Montour Spartans.

The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against South Park (South Park, PA). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, South Park tipped South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Montour will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA).
