The Newton Local Indians soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Twin Valley South Panthers to 1 in the Indians league victory on Thursday.
The Indians now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Jackson Center for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. Newton Local will play a Tigers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
