In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Saugerties Sawyers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Roosevelt Presidents.

The Sawyers (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Our Lady of Lourdes was edged by Wallkill (Wallkill, NY), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Presidents now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Hook for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Roosevelt will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
