With the triumph, Alcovy improves its record to 1-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 12-0. Eastside won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)

With the loss, Clarke Central moves to 5-6 on the season. The Gladiators host Jackson County (Jefferson, GA) to confront the Panthers in a 5A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 10-3.
