Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK) fans exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their softball team run past the visiting Watonga Eagles (Watonga, OK), 11-1 in a non-league match.

The Longhorns (7-13) will now prepare for their match against Alva (Alva, OK). The Goldbugs come into the match with a 18-7 record. In their last match, Alva notched a victory over Perry (Perry, OK), 4-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, OK) in a 2A challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Watonga will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Mooreland (Mooreland, OK).
