In Thursday's league match, the host Ripley Warriors softball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Depew Hornets.

The Warriors (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Leedey (Leedey, OK). The Bison enter the non-league game with a 22-4 record. In their last game, Leedey topped Thomas-Fay-Custer (Thomas, OK), 12-0, in a non-league game.

The Hornets now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Wellston for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Depew will play a Tigers squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Stroud (Stroud, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 9-5.
