In Thursday's league test, the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) softball squad the visiting Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), by a tally of 5-3.

The Trojans now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swainsboro for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 17. Johnson County will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Glascock County moves to 7-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Brentwood (Sandersville, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The War Eagles go into the test with a record of 10-0. Brentwood won 8-0 in their recent league test against Gatewood (Eatonton, GA)
