The Holden Eagles softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nevada for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Holden will confront a Tigers team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Monett (Monett, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Lexington moves to 4-3 on the season. The Minutemen travel to St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO) to play the Guardians in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Guardians enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. St. Michael the Archangel won 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Raytown South (Raytown, MO)
