The Locust Grove Wildcats softball squad (Locust Grove, GA), was routed 10-2 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA)
The Greyhounds (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Perry was routed by Wayne County (Jesup, GA), 12-6, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) in a 4A Region 2 bout, on Monday, September 22. Locust Grove will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-10 record after their 16-7 league win over McDonough (McDonough, GA).
