The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Carrollton (Carrollton, MO). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Carrollton was routed by Lawson (Lawson, MO), 8-1, in a non-league battle.

With the loss, Lafayette County moves to 6-4 on the season. The Huskers travel to Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Warrensburg lost 18-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO)
