Georgia High School Softball - Lanier succumbs to Milton

September 11, 2025: Milton, GA 30004

In Thursday's league test, the Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), by a tally of 9-1.

Next, the Eagles meet the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 15. Milton will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record.

With the loss, Lanier moves to 6-9 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Seckinger (Buford, GA) to encounter the Jaguars in a 5A Region 7 outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Jaguars come into the outing with a record of 9-7. Seckinger won 10-4 in their recent league test against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA)
