Nebraska High School Softball - McCook bounces Lexington

September 11, 2025: McCook, NE 69001

Spectators at Thursday's league contest between the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) and the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), saw McCook's softball squad beat Lexington by a score of 14-4.

With the triumph, McCook improves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Bison travel to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE) to face the Bluehawks in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. The Bluehawks enter the contest with a record of 10-3. St. Cecilia won 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Platte (North Platte, NE)

The Minutemen now hold a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they host Kearney Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Lexington will clash with a Stars team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over McCook (McCook, NE). The Stars record now stands at 11-2.
