McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they observed their softball team notch a victory over the visiting Towers Titans (Decatur, GA), 21-6 in a league match.

The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Trojans go into the 1A D-I Region 4 match with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Lamar County was routed by Social Circle (Social Circle, GA), 6-3, in a league game.

The Titans now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jasper County for a 1A D-I Region 4 match on Tuesday, September 16. Towers will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 19-2 league win over Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 7-8.
