The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK) and the host Quinton Savages (Quinton, OK), observed Wilburton's softball team get by Quinton by a tally of 4-0.

The Diggers (1-9) will now prepare for their bout against Tushka (Atoka, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 17-6 record.

In their next game, the Savages clash with the Allen Mustangs (Allen, OK) in a Class A bout, on Friday, September 12. Quinton will attempt to advance on its 14-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 16-3 non-league win over Crowder (Crowder, OK).
