In Thursday's league match, the host River Ridge Knights softball squad scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Sequoyah Chiefs.

Next, the Knights play the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) in a 5A Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record.
