The Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs (Owendale, MI) volleyball knocked off the visiting Akron-Fairgrove Vikings (Fairgrove, MI), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caseville for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 16. Owendale-Gagetown will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over All Saints Central (Bay City, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Carsonville-Port Sanilac was outscored by North Huron (Kinde, MI), 3-0, in a league match.
