Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Alliance Bloomfield Bulls (Huntington Park, CA) and the visiting East College Prep Spartans (Los Angeles, CA), observed Alliance Bloomfield's volleyball team top East College Prep by a count of 3-1.

The Bulls (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA). The Jaguars enter the Eastside contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Collins Family was knocked off by Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Brio College Prep Olympians (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 12. East College Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Olympians go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Southwestern Academy (San Marino, CA).
