Illinois High School Volleyball - Amboy over Ashton-Franklin Center

The Amboy Clippers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders to 0 in the Clippers league triumph on Thursday.

The Clippers now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oregon for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Amboy will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 0-8.

The Raiders (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Morrison (Morrison, IL). The Mustangs enter the Northwest Upstate Illini game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Morrison was dropped by Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
