Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Marauders (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA). The Warriors come into the Middlesex challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Wakefield Memorial lost by Newton North (Newtonville, MA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spy Ponders play the Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Melrose (Melrose, MA).
