Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) and the visiting Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY), observed Bell County's volleyball team top Middlesboro by a count of 3-0.

The Bobcats (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Summertown (Summertown, TN). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 18-4 record. In their last battle, Summertown achieved victory over Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Yellowjackets now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washburn for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Middlesboro will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN). The Pirates record now stands at 10-5.
