The Wheeler Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Biggersville Lions to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Falkner for a Class 1A Region 1 game on Tuesday, September 16.

The Lions (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Eagles go into the Class 1A Region 1 game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Falkner was dropped by Pine Grove (Ripley, MS), 3-1, in a league game.
