In Thursday's league challenge, the host California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wildwood Wolves.

The Coyotes (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South (Torrance, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, South beat Mayfair (Lakewood, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolves meet the Vistamar Vikings (El Segundo, CA) in a Coastal test, on Monday, September 15. Wildwood will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA).
