The Capital Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting River Ridge Hawks to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Skyline for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Capital will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
The Hawks (0-4) will now prepare for their match against North Thurston (Lacey, WA). The Rams enter the 3A Pierce County bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, North Thurston defeated Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA), 3-0, in a league bout.
