The Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) volleyball held off the host Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Airline for a Division I District 1 bout on Wednesday, September 17.
With the loss, Captain Shreve drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Gators host Caddo Magnet (Shreveport, LA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 5-2. Caddo Magnet lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Neville (Monroe, LA)
