The Charles Henderson Trojans volleyball squad (Troy, AL), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL)

The Gamecocks (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Straughn (Andalusia, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record.

The Trojans now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brewbaker Tech for a 5A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Charles Henderson will encounter a Rams team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over LAMP (Montgomery, AL). The Rams record now stands at 4-10.
