The Cherokee Christian Warriors (Woodstock, GA) volleyball knocked off the host Valor Christian Lions (Alpharetta, GA), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson Ferry Christian Academy for a GAPPS DI-AAA Region 1 match on Monday, September 15. Cherokee Christian will confront a Saints squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Scholars Guild Academy (Loganville, GA). The Saints record now stands at 8-7.
The Lions (2-10) will now prepare for their match against Covenant Christian Academy (Cumming, GA). The Rams enter the GAPPS DI-AA Region 3 match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Covenant Christian Academy notched a victory over Notre Dame Academy (Duluth, GA), 3-0, in a league match.
