North Carolina High School Volleyball - Garner over Clayton

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) and the visiting Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), observed Garner's volleyball team top Clayton by a count of 3-0.

The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals enter the Greater Neuse River 7A contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Fuquay - Varina achieved victory over South Garner (Garner, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Comets now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a Greater Neuse River 7A battle on Tuesday, September 16. Clayton will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Rams record now stands at 10-2.
