In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Clinton Arrows volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Murrah Mustangs.

The Arrows (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Starkville (Starkville, MS). The Yellowjackets come into the Class 7A Region 2 challenge with a 9-17 record. In their last challenge, Starkville was beaten by Madison Central (Madison, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a Class 7A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Murrah will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Mavericks come into the test with a 12-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Madison Central (Madison, MS).
