Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Temple Tigers (Temple, GA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Coosa improves its record to 12-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to Greenville (Greenville, GA) to face the Patriots in a 1A Area 6 test on Thursday, September 18. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 0-3. Greenville lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Pepperell (Lindale, GA)

The Tigers now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they travel to Heard County for a 1A Area 6 challenge on Thursday, September 11. Temple will meet a Braves team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Braves record now stands at 12-8.
