The St. George's Athletes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers to 2 in the Athletes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Athletes now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity Christian School of Griffin for a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. St. George's will clash with a LIONS team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Konos Academy (Fayetteville, GA). The LIONS record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, CrossPointe Christian Academy drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host The Campus (Peachtree City, GA) to clash with the Griffin in a GAPPS DI-A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Griffin come into the outing with a record of 0-7. The Campus lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Harp's Crossing Christian (Fayetteville, GA)
