The Downey Vikings were victorious over the host Warren Bears volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Vikings now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Norwalk for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. Downey will play a Lancers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Warren drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to West (Torrance, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 8-4. West won 3-0 in their recent league game against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA)
