Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Knight Hawks (Palmdale, CA) and the visiting Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA), observed Knight's volleyball team top Eastside by a count of 3-0.

The Hawks (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA). The Royals enter the Golden battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Quartz Hill achieved victory over Taft (Taft, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mammoth for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Eastside will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 13-3.
